Poorna of 'Avunu' fame got married last year. The actress, recently seen as the villain's wife in Nani's 'Dasara', hails from Kerala. Shamna Kasim is her real name.
The news is that the actress has given birth to a baby boy. The delivery took place at a private hospital in Dubai.
Recently, pictures and videos of Shamna Kasim's baby shower went viral on the internet, where the mom-to-be was seen wearing a maroon silk saree adorned with gold and precious stone jewelry.
Poorna's fiance is Shanid Asif Ali, a businessman in the UAE. He is the founder and CEO of JBS Group. The couple met through mutual friends and decided to take the plunge after getting to know each other for some time. In recent times, Poorna has been active in films, especially the critically acclaimed Thalaivi' and the Telugu blockbuster 'Akhanda'.
