Model and actress Poonam Pandey has registered a legal case against British businessman Raj Kundra and his associate, Saurabh Kushwash. Raj Kundra is the husband of popular Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty.

Poonam Pandey reportedly owns an app that had been managed by Raj Kundra's company since March 2019. The actress has alleged that she had cancelled the contract a couple of months ago, but the app has remained active despite that. In addition, she has also been receiving phone calls and obscene messages, allegedly after Raj Kundra leaked Poonam's number on the app, according to her statement. Her number was leaked along with messages that read, "Call me now as I am free to talk" and "Call me now. Let us talk and I will strip for you on the app."

Poonam's lawyer has reportedly stated that the police did not co-operate when the actress approached them and refused to file an FIR as well. She later approached the Bombay High Court with a petition, and a legal notice has been served to the accused.
