Poonam Kaur made her Kollywood debut in the film ‘Nenjirukkum Varai’. It was a SA Chandrasekaran directed film in 2007. The movie was a non-starter and Poonam was forgotten. As she was already popular in Tollywood she continued her innings in Andhra.

Recently, the Punjabi beauty suddenly re appeared in ‘Payanam’ in a small role of an air hostess and she got the fancy of Tamil film industry once again.

Reports say Poonam Kaur has been confirmed to play a parallel heroine role in the new Vishal film directed by Prabhu Deva. It already has Sameera Reddy is the main heroine role.

The Vishal film is a remake of the Gopichand starred Telugu hit ‘Sourya’ and Poonam had played the same role in the original along with Anushka.

Poonam is exited to bag the important offer and hopes her second innings will be a successful one.
