Pooja- Vasundhara for AIDS Awareness

Two top actors Pooja Gandhi and Vasundhara Das took part in the World AIDS day program on Wednesday at Chitrakala Parishat in Bangalore. Pooja Gandhi who has already taken up the social cause on HIV AIDS addressed the hundreds of students on the need to know the dangers of HIV AIDS. She urged the students to lead a safe and healthy life.

At another place in Bangalore actress cum director Roopa Iyer who made ‘Mukhaputa’ that is on the children affected by HIV AIDS took part in giving care to the family of an AIDS victim.

The Karnataka state government health department Ramana Reddy, Bangalore city police commissioners took part in the awareness program. There was no stage speeches and only awareness programs organized by Muralidhar Halappa Foundation. From morning till evening based songs were rendered and all of them were related to the awareness on AIDS.

In the evening famous actress and singer Vasundhara Das took part in the candle lighting event. Around 400 candles were lit on this occasion.
