Prithviraj Sukumaran’s next production venture ‘Kuruthi’ has started rolling in Erattupetta, a town in Kottayam district. Supriya Menon, who is producing the film under the banner Prithviraj Productions, has shared a few pictures from the puja ceremony that took place on December 9.

The ceremony was attended by the entire cast and crew including Supriya Menon, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Roshan Mathew, Murali Gopi and Mallika Sukumaran.

Touted to be a socio-political thriller, the movie will feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Roshan Mathew, Murali Gopy, Shine Tom Chacko, Mamukoya, Srinda, Manikandan R Achari, Navas Vallikkunnu, Naslen, and Sagar Surya.

Directed by Manu Warrier, the film is scripted by Anish Pallyal. Abinanadhan Ramanujam is the cinematographer and Akhilesh Mohan is in charge of edits. Popular musician Jakes Bejoy is composing the music for ‘Kuruthi’, which marks the third production venture from Prithviraj Productions after ‘9’ and ‘Driving License’.

Meanwhile, Prithvi is currently shooting for the investigative thriller 'Cold Case'. Directed by Tanu Balak, the movie has Aruvi fame Aditi Balan in the female lead.
