Entering Kollywood the big way, Pooja Kumar has come to be a familiar face in Kollywood, through 'Vishwaroopam'. Currently, the actress is working on the sequel of this film, 'Vishwaroopam 2'. However, what most people do not know is that 'Vishwaroopam' is not her debut in the tinsel town. Back in the millennium year, she debuted in the film titled 'Kadhal Rojave' as the heroine of actor Vishnu, who is the son of the yesteryear actress Sheela.

Since the film did not kick off well, Pooja settled abroad all these years. But it was Gouthami, who has sourced information about Pooja, and suggested to Kamal Hassan that she would well suit the cast, and it has worked the magic. Pooja recollects that this is a help, for which she is indebted to Gouthami forever. Speaking on the sequel, Pooja says that 'Vishwaroopam 2' will be impressive in its own way, and that it is a surprise package. What about her future in Kollywood? "I am willing to perform, if the script is good" says Pooja.
