Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie 'Beast' is one of the most anticipated films in K-town. Beast marks the 65th film of the star, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is backed by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures.

Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander is composing the soundtrack of Beast. Tollywood actress Pooja Hegde was roped in to play the female lead. Reportedly, Yogi Babu and Cooku With Comali fame Pugazh are said to be a part of the movie.

Beast went on floors in April after a customary pooja at Sun Pictures' office in Perungudi, Chennai. The cast and crew of the film then headed to Georgia for the shoot. The first schedule was completed in Georgia. Then, the second schedule of filming happened in Chennai. The makers enclosed the first look of Beast on Thalapathy Vijay's Birthday.

Sources said that the third schedule will begin on Monday, but the Beast actress surprised Thalapathy's fans by posting a behind-the-screen image of the film's sets. Today, Pooja shared a picture from Beast sets and marked the location as Chennai. The third schedule of the movie's filming has begun today in Chennai.

However, she deleted the story later but the screenshot has been ruling social media. After completing this schedule, the team will fly to Russia in September to shoot an important action sequence. 'Beast' is slated for a theatrical release on Pongal 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.
