Pooja Hegde promotes Yoga on special day in style

It’s International Yoga Day today and star actress Pooja Hegde has done her bit to prod her fans to start seeing Yoga as a fine lifestyle practice. The ‘Maharshi’ beauty, who is fitness-conscious in a lot of ways, posted a collage of her Yogic poses. 

Sharing the pic as an Instagram post, the ‘Aravindha Sametha’ actress wrote, “Pretty much sums it all up! #HappyYogaDay.” From the post, it’s clear that Pooja has been a practitioner for years. Her agile body enjoys pulling off even complex asanas. 

When the superstar diva contracted Covid in April, she made it a point to rely on Yoga to build lung capacity through breathing exercises. Back then, after her recovery, Pooja spoke of her experience and how she could recover at home. “Yoga is not only a physical exercise, it also helps you maintain a positive frame of mind,” the ‘Radhe Shyam’ lady once said. 

Besides doing big films with Prabhas and Ram Charan (she is part of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’), Pooja is also playing an interesting role in the Hindi-language film ‘Cirkus’, which is headlined by Ranveer Singh. In Bollywood, the ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ actress will also do a Salman Khan movie. In Tamil, she is paired up with Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Beast’.
