Five years ago, actress Pooja Hegde made her Bollywood debut. Working alongside Hrithik Roshan and Ashutosh Gowarikar on her first project, it was a dream scenario for Pooja but unfortunately the film tanked at box office and nobody took a note of Pooja's skills. However, the actress has come a long way from there and is going through a successful career phase.

Recently, she recalled how she felt after the failure of Mohenjo Daro. She said, "Mohenjo Daro was tough on me. It didn't work as well as we wanted it to. People don't offer more films to someone whose previous film has not worked. The first film is like a national audition for an actor. I got myself out of that phase as soon as I could and picked the best out of the offers that came my way."

Since then, Pooja has cemented her place in the Tollywood and she's working on multiple Bollywood projects as well. She will appear in 'Radhe Shyam' alongside Prabhas and she has films like 'Cirkus' and 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' under production.
