Pooja Hegde has been in talks for many films before the lockdown started and she had to finish a song or two for her then Summer release, Akhil's Most Eligible Bachelor. She later confirmed that she completed shooting most of her part for the film and she did a stand-up comic's role in the film too.

She has Prabhas' Oh Dear, Salman Khan's film and tentatively, Trivikram's next with NTR on her checklist to complete on priority before committing for new films.

Hence, after discussing with Hanu Raghavapudi, she decided to wait till the lockdown is over and adjust her dates first to Prabhas' film which has at least 40% shoot still to complete.

After she gets a clarity on her signed projects, she will sign on the dotted line for Hanu's film. The director made films like Andala Rakshasi, LIE, Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gatha and Padi Padi Leche Manasu. This new film is planned with Dulquer Salmaan as a Telugu - Malayalam bilingual.
