Pooja Hegde approached for Dhanush’s bilingual

It’s known that actor Dhanush will be doing a Telugu-Tamil movie to be helmed by ‘Rang De’ director Venky Atluri. To be produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film is in the news for an interesting reason.

The buzz is that Pooja Hegde has been approached for the movie. The director has narrated the story to her and she is said to be impressed with her character as well as the subject.

Producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi, who is particular about bringing on board the best sort of cast for his prestigious projects, is keen on enlisting the superstar actress. For one, Pooja has delivered back-to-back hits. For another, she is also doing crazy movies such as ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Acharya’ and ‘Beast’ down South. She is also a sought-after face in Bollywood.

As for the subject of the untitled movie, Venky Atluri is said to have a social drama on paper. A period film, it is about a vigilante (played by Dhanush), who single-handedly takes on the education mafia.

More details about the project are awaited. Dhanush is also doing a prestigious project in Sekhar Kammula’s direction.
