With Shashikuamr noted actor moving out from Congress I to Janata Dal Secular because he was offered seat in Hosadurga for coming Assembly elections, the noted actress Pooja Gandhi joined JDS after a stint in other political parties. Pooja Gandhi was in Sriramulu BSR Congress and contested from Raichur constituency in the last elections.

In JDS she was in 2012, joined KJP of BS Yediyurappa and came to BSR Congress, Pooja Gandhi like Shashikumar is back in JDS. She was welcomed by PGR Sindhia senior politician and former minister.

Pooja Gandhi floating a film factory has kept all her projects in pending. She was not seen for months and added to it the controversy with her father also created disturbance to her.

Now the new stop for Pooja Gandhi is JDS, she is not contesting but only getting in to campaigning for the party.
