The entire shooting the film ‘Sri Harikathe’ by Dayaal Padmanabhan is complete and the film is scheduled for January 1 release. To promote the new film Dayaal is trying out what usually happens in Bollywood, He has already completed a promotional video independent of the film.

However one song in the film featuring Pooja Gandhi is being reported as an item number and has not much relevance to the film’s narrative. But Pooja Gandhi who featured in that song with other dancers denies this. She plays the character of a model and so the director felt it is necessary to have that song to introduce the character, the actress said. Director Dayaal also strongly feels the song is not kept for commercial considerations and is an integral part of the story.
