While the original producer of Raani Maharani, Jai Jagdish is averse to remaking it once again starring Pooja Gandhi in double role, the director of the film B Ramamurthy is making all preparations to direct the film with a change in the cast.

The films like Bhale Jodi, Alli Ramachari Illi Brahmachari, Mojugara Sogasugara in Kannada, Seetha Aur Geetha, Ram Aur Shyam, Chalbaaz and several other films in Hindi had the same concept of Raani Maharani made in Kannada starring Malashri in double role.

It is after two decades exactly Raani Maharani made in the banner of Arpitha Arts (starring Malashri in double role, Ambarish, Shashikumar and Jaggesh) made again in Kannada starring Mungaru Male fame Pooja Gandhi doing the stellar roles.

Shishira film Naveen is one of the heroes. Vinay Chandra, who worked in the camps of Hamsalekha, V Manohar and Gurukiran, is scoring the music for this film.
