Talking about opting for OTT release as the market has seen big stars dwindling with their weekend collection, Jackky Bhagnani said, “The film was designed to release on OTT. We were certain from the get-go that this film release digitally. Since, the inception of the film, we knew this is a great genre, and we wanted to put this story out in the best way, and Disney is the best platform for this movie”

The film is a brilliant and gripping adaptation of a south movie, which is based on real-life case of Anatoly Yemelianovich Slivko, a known serial killer from Soviet Union. In Cuttputlli, Akshay Kumar will be seen as a man on a mission where he ventures out to hunt a serial killer who is cut loose in Kasauli.
