Actor Sirish who made an impressive debut with the critically acclaimed crime thriller flick 'Metro' will be acting as the lead hero in 'Raja Ranguski' which will be directed by Dharanidharan of 'Burma' and 'Jackson Durai' fame. The film will have musical score of Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Pooja Devariya was announced as the female lead of the film and she also took part in the launch pooja last week and even completed the first day shoot.. This film should have been her first as a female lead for the actor who hails from theater background and has grabbed attention with her supporting characters in 'Iraivi' and 'Kutramey Thandanai' last year.
However much to the disappointment of her fans and well wishers, Pooja Devariya has been forced to back out of this project reportedly due to health reasons.
Sources reveal that Pooja had to take rest as she has fallen ill. However the makers could not wait for her recovery as they are bound to complete the film quickly.
Now they have found a replacement for Pooja with Chandini Tamilarasan who has acted in films like 'Siddhu Plus 2', ' Naan Rajavagapogiren' and 'Vil Ambu' among a few others. She is also part of Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kavan directed by K.V.Anand.
Chandini has officially confirmed that she will be playing the female lead in 'Raja Ranguski'. The character is that of a writer and Ranguski is her pen name.
