Pooja Bhatt to shoot 'Cabaret' in Indonesia

Trips can be inspiring.. For instance; Pooja Bhatt who had visited Indonesia two years back has been carrying sweet memories of the trip since then. Talks are that the noted actor-filmmaker was charmed by the beauty, traditional heritage and cultural richness of Bali - So much that she is now going to revive those beautiful locales through her forthcoming film ‘Cabaret’.

According to sources, Pooja is keen to do the shooting of major part of 'Cabaret' in Indonesia.

The filmmaker recently had been at a meeting organised by Mahesh Saharia, Honorary Consul of Indonesia at Kolkata at the Embassy of Indonesia at New Delhi, where the Ambassador of Indonesia H.E. Rizali Wilmar Indrakesuma welcomed the initiative and assured to take up the matter with different Ministries in Indonesia to facilitate the filming in Indonesia with ease, without difficulty and problems.

Pooja Bhatt was very excited with the excellent reception and a Meeting on Sunday with senior functionaries of the Embassy. The meeting was attended besides Ambassador himself, Honorary Consul, Director VisitIndonesia, Ms Hendra Henny Andries, Minister Counsellor, Ms Rospinda Saragih, Counsellor, Mr Budi Santosa, Trade Attahce. Ms Bhatt was accompanied by her colleague Ms Tanvi Modi.

Pooja Bhatt, who gave ‘Jism 2’ last year, also shared that she has decided and is in the process of finalising another project on the life of legendary Dr Bhupen Hazarika of Assam.

One the other hand, Embassy of Indonesia greatly appreciates the keen desire of Pooja Bhatt to shoot her film in Indonesia and while assuring her of all cooperation, hope that such film will make Indonesian destinations and locations more popular in India and bring more tourists from India and will work as pioneering project and catalyst to attract more Indian Film Producers to look at Indonesia as favoured destination.
