Pooja Bhatt Addresses Rumors About Alia Bhatt Being Her Daughter

Pooja Bhatt has responded to the rumors about Alia Bhatt being her daughter, dismissing them as idiotic. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Pooja criticized how it has become a trend for people to speculate about others' family relationships. When asked about the rumor that Alia is her daughter, Pooja expressed her disbelief and inquired about Alia's reaction. When the host revealed that Alia had laughed it off as a ridiculous rumor, Pooja commented on the absurdity of such speculations and their lack of dignity.
This rumor had been addressed by Alia Bhatt years ago during her appearance on the chat show Koffee With Karan, where she mentioned the most absurd rumor she had heard about herself â that she was Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt's daughter.
For clarification, Pooja Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt's daughter, while Alia Bhatt is Pooja's half-sister, born to Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Pooja Bhatt recently participated in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where she was one of the finalists.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt's latest film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar and featuring Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra, achieved critical and commercial success upon its release on July 28.
