Actor Sivakarthikeyan's much expected film 'Velaikkaran' teaser released earlier this and it has been well received by the audience. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on September 29, 2017 for teh Aayudha Pooja Festival weekend. The final leg of shooting for this film is currently happening.

Apart from this Sivakarthikeyan is also shooting for another film produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios banner. This film is being directed by Ponram. The film star's Siva and Samantha in lead roles while the supporting cast includes Soori, Simran and Napoleon.

A month long schedule of shoot for this film has been completed in Thenkasi. The next schedule will begin after Siva completes his work on 'Velaikkaran'.

Now Ponram has updated that the film's music director D.Imman has started composing the songs for the film. It is to be noted that Imman is the music director of Ponram's first two films 'Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam' and 'Rajinimurugan' and both films had super hit songs.
