Mani Ratnam's multistarrer magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan' is currently being shot in the dense forest locations of Thailand with Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi participating. The rest of the big names cast of Vikram, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Prabhu, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Kishore and others will be joining at the appropriate time in the next few months.

The latest addition to the cast of 'Ponniyin Selvan' is veteran villain actor Riaz Khan who will soon be flying to Thailand to join the shoot. He is said to be playing an important role and will have major scenes with Kishore. A.R. Rahman is scoring the music, Ravi Varman is behind the camera, Thotta Tharani is in charge of the production design and A. Sreekhar Prasad will do the edit.
