Mani Ratnam's epic dream project 'Ponniyin Selvan' is racing towards its finishing line. The amazing thing is that it's not one movie but two and the ace filmmaker has planned it in such a way that both have been made simultaneously.
We already brought you the updates that Jayam Ravi who plays the title role in 'Ponniyin Selvan' and Vikram who is portraying Aditya Karikalan have finished their entire portions for both the films. Now another hot inside info on the mega project has been revealed by one of the stars.
Veteran Malayalam and Tamil actor Rahman is playing Madhurandagan in 'PS1' and 'PS2'. He has shared a pic of himself with the celebrated filmmaker and captioned it "From Gwalior to Indoor by train. It’s been almost 20 odd years I traveled in a train. Brought back memories. Shared my little funny stories with Mani Ratnam and Ravi Varman. Btw our destination is Maheshwar. Another 2 hours by road. For ponniyn selvan shoot".
'Ponniyin Selvan' has music score by A.R. Rahman and has on board to pan Indian stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Prabhu, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Parthiban and Sarathkumar.
