The 'Ponniyin Selvan' fever has skyrocketed among the fans and there is a huge demand for tickets for Tamil cinema's biggest multi starrer in advance bookings. Meanwhile, the 'PS1' team is having busy days with the movie's promotional tour. They are meeting fans daily during the pre-release events in different parts of the country. The film releases on Friday.

On the other hand, the production houses and distribution are doing an aggressive online promotion campaign for 'Ponniyin Selvan 1'. Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies launched two brand-new clips from 'PS1' today which made the fans frenzy. While we see the three heroes of the story together in one of the promos, we see a scene featuring the antagonists in the other one.

The first promo shows Aditha Karikalan, Arunmozhi Varman and Vallavarayan Vandhiyathevan riding on horses together. Then, an exclusive scene from the 'PS1' movie was released as a sneak peek. It shows the assassins from the Pandya dynasty taking vows in front of their goddess Kottravai to kill Aditha Karikalan, who defeated and killed their king Veera Pandiyan in the battle of Sevur.

In the sneak peek, Ravi Dasan (played by Kishore) introduces late Veera Pandiyan's son Amarabujanga Pandiyan to the fellow Pandyas Soman Sambavan (Riyaz Khan), Devaralan (Vinay), Varagunan (Arjun Chidambaram) and others. Then, they pledge their lives to the Pandya throne and swore an oath to destroy the Chola bloodline. AR Rahman's background score elevates the scene to a different level.
