The first part of Mani Ratnam's dream project, 'Ponniyin Selvan' is releasing worldwide on September 30th in five languages. The extensive promotional activities have been kickstarted from the beginning of the month. The grand audio and trailer launch of the epic film will be held on September 6th at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai from 6pm onwards.

It has been confirmed through a video that Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be the chief guests at the event that will be an evening of Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman's music. All the major stars of film including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sobhita Dhulipala are expected to grace the event.

'Ponniyin Selvan' also boasts of the stellar cast of Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rahman, Nasser, Ashwin Kakkamanu, Jayachithra, Lal, Prakash Raj, Balaji Shakthivel, Riaz Khan and R Parthiban.
