'Polladhavan' team gears up

The travails of a boy driven to desperation after his motorbike gets stolen and his hostile association with hoodlums was the story of Dhanush's comeback vehicle ‘Polladhavan’. Directed by debutante Vetri Maaran, the film was highly appreciated by film critics for its non-linear narrative style and brilliant handling of characters, and by general audiences for its sheer entertaining value.

The relationship between a boy and girl amidst the dark realities of a merciless world came across as a tender flower shrouded by razor sharp thorns. Divya Spandana was apt as a middle class girl and Dhanush seemed very comfortable playing his role. Daniel Balaji went about town doing what he does best – playing a neurotic man lusting for power and acceptance.

The ‘Polladhavan’ team is coming up with its next film and director Vetri Maaran is all excited and upbeat about the script. In a bid to repeat the success formula, it's going to be the very same team that's making the new film. Art Director Jackson has been roped in and actress Shriya would play Dhanush's lady love this time.

With the stupendous success of ‘Polladhavan’, Vetri Maaran has already created a lot of expectations among movie fans. His next film is going to be based on the Chaos Theory. The theory is something like this….the motion of a bee from one flower to another in China could be the driving force for a tornado in Kansas.

Well, one can already visualize incidents that drive on to make major catastrophes or probably the reverse. With slick narration being his vital strength Vetri Maaran may end up rocking Tamil movie audiences.

The team plans to start filming by the end of July. The movie will hit theaters by the end of the year.
