Noted 'Polladhavan' actors in Vetrimaaran's 'Vada Chennai'

Director Vetrimaaran's dream project 'Vada Chennai' is already on the floors and the shooting has been progressing for the past few weeks. The films stars Dhanush and Samantha in lead roles and we are getting to know the attractive names in the supporting cast one by one.

Even before the film was launched, Samuthirkanai who won the National Award for the Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Vetrimaaran's latest film 'Visaranai' was confirmed to be part of 'Vada Chennai' star cast also. Later Daniel Balaji who acted as the lead antagonist in Vetri's debut outing 'Polladhavan' was roped in for this ambitious project. Yesterday, Karunas who played an important supporting character in 'Polladhavan' confirmed that he will be acting in 'Vada Chennai'.

Now the latest we learn is that Kishore who has been a favorite actor of Vetrimaran as he has acted in all the three films directed by Vetrimaaran so far ('Polladhavan', 'Aadukalam' and 'Visaranai') has been roped in for an important supporting role in 'Vada Chennai'.

Adding to these stellar performers. actor Pawan who gave his first notable performance as 'Outtu' in 'Polladahvan' will be acting under the direction of Vetrimaaran again for 'Vada Chennai'.

'Vada Chennai' is a trilogy that will take us for a deep dive into the underworld history of North Chennai. Santhosh Narayanan will be taking care of the musical score for this film.
