Actor Arvind Swami who had made a comeback with his Siddharth Abhimanyu role in Thani Oruvan, has been busy since, playing lead roles as well as villain roles in many movies like Baskar Oru Rascal, Bogan, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and is acting in few movies now.

Arvind Swami will be seen next in the movie Vanangamudi directed by Selva, and it has been revealed that this movie will be based on the Pollachi sexual abuse incident which happened before few months, and Arvind Swami will be seen as a police officer who investigates and finds the criminals.

Vanangamudi will have Simran playing Arvind Swami's pair, and the movie also stars Ritika Singh, Nandita Swetha in important roles. It has been said that Vanangamudi which is in its last schedule shoot in Kodaikanal will have Arvind Swami in many getups and will release in Tamil New Year.
