The sensational Pollachi case in which four men Thirunavukkarasu, Satheesh, Sabarirajan and Vasanthakumar meted out torture and rape and video graphed it has become a burning issue in the state.  The alleged involvement of the ruling party bigwigs has caused concern whether the case will be handled in a just manner.  DGP T.K. Rajendran has announced that the case has been handed over to the CBCID.

Meanwhile a news channel belonging to the ruling party has released audio allegedly by the victim who claims that she lodged the complaint so that no other woman is affected in the future.  The voice claims that a relative of hers from Malichampatti took her to Pollachi MLA Jayaraman who immediately helped her in the legal formalities directing her to Superintendent of Police Pandiarajan and DSP Jayaraman and the three men barring mastermind Thirunavukkarasu were arrested on that night itself.  The voice claiming to be the victim emphasizes that no one from the ruling party is involved in her rape incident and accuses vested interests of politicizing her issue.

Netizens seem to be doubting that it is the voice of the girl as in the original video her voice seems to belong to a much younger girl than the one in this audio.  Others are of the opinion that the girl in the latest audio seems to be reading out a statement written by someone as she is intent on clearing the names of the politicians.  Whether this is an original voice of the victim or not is left for the authorities to determine and you can watch the video below to ascertain for yourselves.
