The CBI has started its investigations on the Pollachi sex racket case involving four men Thirunavukkarasu, Satheesh, Sabarirajan and Vasanthakumar who have alleged to have sexually abused and blackmailed close to a hundred women in their home town. Bar Nagaraj was one of the persons arrested for threatening the girl victim and her brother and was ousted from the ruling ADMK party in which he was a member.

Bar Nagaraj has now released a video in which he has stated that the media has put up Satheesh's pictures and have implicated him in the Pollachi sex scandal. He has stated that he is involved in the threatening case and is out on bail and would fully cooperate with the police. Nagaraj has asserted that he is in no way involved in the scandal and has asked viewers to see his body build and a scar on his arm to prove that it is not him in the pictures. He has warned the media that he would file a defamation case if he is again implicated in the sex abuse case.
