Pawan Kalyan held a pressmeet moments ago to appeal to his fans to not attend the audio release function of SGS if they have no passes. He said this in view of the security concerns raised by the police.

"We had issues about the event till yesterday. I wanted it to be cancelled. The police department has raised concerns because Novotel is a place where foreign delegates stay. So, any untoward incident happening there will invite unwarranted attention. Besides, guests and fans will be inconvenienced.

"I personally reached out to the police and briefed them about the event. Please those without passes, don't assemble there. A stampede could happen. Anti-social ements could take advantage. I thank the Commissioner of Police, the CI of Madhapur, the Telangana govt, Harish Rao garu, and KTR garu for helping the event happen.

"Special event organizers from Mumbai are going to be there. We wanted to hold the event in Nizam Grounds, but concerns were raised. So, we chose to hold it in a controlled atmosphere like Novotel.

"We invited Chiranjeevi garu for the event. It was he who released the audio of Gabbar Singh. Moreover, I have written a full-fledged script for the first time since Jhonny.

"The reason why we have dubbed it into Hindi is because Eros showed interest in releasing it. The story is also apt. The backdrop is the Hindi belt. Eros proposed that they will dub. As for promoting there, I haven't thought that far.

(Referring to RGV's tweets about the SGS being dubbed into Hindi, he said..) "I don't think of breaking anybody's records. People tell me about his tweets. I read his tweets sometimes. (Laughs).

(About Chiranjeevi visiting the SGS sets) "He came to the sets and liked the realistic set. Saradaga matladukunam.

"I haven't dubbed in Hindi. They found someone who is like me.

"I won't do direction. I have a certain vision and when I try to push my vision too much, people get annoyed. So, I gave it up.

"After Khushi, I wanted to leave films after doing 4-5 films. It's tiring. I continued doing films because of the flops after Khushi.

(On being asked as to why he has no clarity about whether he should be a politico or actor). "I am confused." (Laughs).
