Politics is business now: Kamal

Kamal Haasan is known to express his ideas loud and clear. So when at a press conference for the Banyan's Netru Indru Naalai on Monday, He said, ' Politics has become a business now and I can't learn another business now'.

Reiterating that he would stay away from politics, Kamal Haasan said, 'All my best wishes are for the actors who have ventured to politics. But I would prefer to stay away from politics and I do what I know the best --- acting in cinema'.

Talking about contemporary cinema, Kamal Haasan said, 'When great men like Jayakanthan stay away from filmdom, we can see only commercial films succeeding at the box-office'.

Kamal Haasan will be taking part in the Netru Indru Naalai, a megashow being directed by Vasanth and Manirathnam and would feature several prominent artistes on 5 February.
