Anbumani Ramadoss condemns Thalapathy Vijay; Is ‘Leo’ in trouble?

We all know that Thalapathy Vijay's biggie 'Leo' is coming to the cinemas on October 19. Meanwhile, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and team unleashed the first poster of Vijay from the movie yesterday and announced that the first single 'Naa Ready' will be launched on the actor's birthday (June 22).

Now, renowned politician Anbumani Ramadoss of Pattali Makkal Katchi has condemned Thalapathy Vijay for the new poster of 'Leo'. The poster shows the 'Master' actor smoking a cigarette and it also has a 'smoking kills' message on it. But Anbumani Ramadoss, who condemned Vijay for smoking in the 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' film, took to his social media to address the topic again.

Anbumani Ramadoss wrote on Twitter, "Actor Vijay should avoid acting in smoking scenes! It is sad that the first poster of the Leo movie features actor Vijay smoking. Children and students watch movies his movies. They should not be addicted to smoking after watching him act in such a scene. He also has a social responsibility to protect the public from smoking. That is what the law says. So, actor Vijay should refrain from doing smoking scenes in movies as he promised in 2007 and 2012.
#SmokingKills #SayNoToTobacco" (sic).

This tweet is now doing rounds on the internet. There is no response from Thalapathy Vijay's side regarding this yet. We have to wait and see if Leo lands in trouble due to this. Leo is an action biggie starring Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy, Priya Anand, Babu Antony and others with music by Rockstar Anirudh.
