Superstar Rajinikanth too, as is in vogue, has chosen the digital route to kick-start his political journey and has come up with an online registration facility for his cadres.  It has been widely reported that a staggering 50 Lakhs registrations has happened causing the server to crash.

However popular political analyst Sumanth Raman has voiced his doubt on twitter stating that it is very unlikely for any server to handle about 2 lakh registration in an hour which 3300 per minute to sum up to the claimed 50 Lakh figure.

50 lakhs in around 24 hours means approx.2 lakh registrations an hour. Seems very unlikely. Did @IndiaToday put this story out without verifying it? Could servers hv handled 2 lakh registrations per hour? 3300 registrations per minute? Clearly not on. @Priyamvathap
