The pre-release event of 'Pushpa: The Rise' was held on Sunday evening at Yousufuda's Police Grounds. The event was a massive success, with thousands of fanboys attending it with enthusiasm. When the situation went out of control, the policemen deployed to monitor the event had to resort to mild lathi-charging on some of the over-enthusiastic fans. The fiasco happened before the arrival of Allu Arjun. It was nothing short of a challenge for the cops to control the crowds. Many of them were eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite hero. But they had to be shooed away because the venue was already teeming with crowds.

The pre-release event was one of the most crowd-pulling events in the history of Telugu cinema. The delirious situation that prevailed at the venue mirrored the craze surrounding the Allu Arjun-Sukumar project. The film will hit the screens on December 17.
