As reported earlier today, actor Vishal, who is the President of the Tamil Film Producers' Council, was on Thursday morning arrested from the association's building in T Nagar in Chennai. Vishal had entered the premises to break open the locks of the council office, which had been locked by his rivals in the union.
The 'Abhimanyudu' and 'Pandem Kodi-2' actor has said that the police were mute on Wednesday when some unauthorized people had locked the doors and gates of the TFPC office. "Today, they have arrested me and my colleague for no fault of ours, it's absolutely unbelievable," he tweeted out.
The actor's plan is to conduct an event of Maestro Ilayaraja to raise funds. "We will fight back, will do everything to conduct Ilayaraja sir's event and raise funds to help Producers in distress," Vishal added.
