Police security given for Lyca office in Chennai

As we all know Superstar Rajinikanth withdrew his plans to visit Sri Lanka to take part in an event to distribute newly built houses for the war displaced Eelam Tamils. The event was organised by Gnanam Foundation run by Subaskaran the Chairman of Lyca Group of Companies.

Rajinikanth cancelled his trip to Jaffna respecting the sentiments expressed by a few Tamil Nadu political leaders. After he announced his decision, Lyca issued a statement in some allegations against TN politicians were raised. Subaskaran has filed a case against T.Velmurugan of Tamizh Vazhvurimai Katchi since the latter alleged that Lyca has tie up with former Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Since today morning, Police security has been beefed up in the office of Lyca, located in T.Nagar, Chennai. It is said that the police security has been sought to prevent any untoward incident against the business house in the wake of the ongoing tiff with some political leaders of TN.

Lyca is producing Rajinikanth's upcoming mega budget film '2.0' directed by Shankar.
