Roswell Police Department on their official Facebook page took to their social media handle to reveal an interesting incident that happened on August 2. A woman in New Mexico informed the cops after finding a python stuck in one of the wheels of her car.
After the police and sergeants reached the space, it was found that the snake moved to the car's engine. Soon they managed to take the python out the car and was handed over to the animal services. The police also announced they are waiting for the snake's owners to claim it within a period of 4 days, after which it would be put up for adoption.

"Some RPD officers and sergeants took on the role of snake wranglers Sunday night (Aug. 2) when they responded to a call from a woman who discovered a three-foot python had found its way into her vehicle's tire in the 400 block of South Spruce Avenue. When the RPD personnel arrived, the python moved into the vehicle's engine. Eventually, one of the sergeants was able to remove the snake from the engine and turn it over to Animal Services. The python remained at the city animal shelter Monday morning (Aug. 3). If the owner of the python does not claim the snake within four days, it will be put up for adoption.(Photos: Snake being handled by an Animal Services staff member at the shelter; snake being held by an officer at the scene; snake in the top inner part of the tire where it was originally discovered)"
Meanwhile, the owner of the snake commented on the post in which they have thanked the police. The snake parent wrote, "We want to thank the police and animal control. We have our slinky home. He climb deeper into the truck while they were trying to get him free and with a huge amount of patience he is in beutiful shape. We just put two big books rather then the normal 4 big books and he jumped at the chance to roam, about 4 blocks. Wont make the same mistake twice, he under lock now. (sic)"
