Pushpa Raj is behind bars. He may think nobody can catch him, but someone better than Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil) has gone many steps ahead. We are talking about a video clip put out by the Uttar Pradesh police, who the other day arrested a smuggler for smuggling over 11,050 kg of wood in Saharanpur district's Gagalheri town. The smuggled wood is worth Rs 20 lakh.

Sharing the news, the police used a clip from 'Pushpa', where we see Allu Arjun's character say that he will not bow out come what may. "Maal milega aur Pushpa bhi milega #PushingPushpaBehindBars," the UP police wrote.

"Police sun ke Mamu samjha hai kya, UP Police hai main," the tweet further says.

Recently, the UP state unit of Congress party rewrote 'Srivalli' song to promote the heritage of UP ahead of the Assembly elections. 'Pushpa' is one of the most popular dubbed movies ever. Pushpa Raj is a smuggler and the glorification of the character has been criticized by the likes of Padma Shri Garikapati Narasimha Rao.
