Shocking allegations against Vemal's family in police complaint

Actor Vemal who has a lot of hit films under his belt including 'Pasanga', 'Kalavani', 'Vaagai Sooda Va', 'Kalakalappu', 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' and 'Manjapai' is awaiting the release of his long-delayed 'Kanni Raasi' costarring Varalaskhmi Sarathkumar.
Meanwhile, Vemal's ancestral home is in the Pannakombu village near Manappaarai and dispute has arisen due to the demolition of a temple structure in front of his house. Selvam a temple priest belonging to the village has lodged a complaint at the Puthanatham police station.
In his petition, Selvam has stated that opposite Vemal's house there is a vacant public land where there is a short pillar to light holy lamps which has been converted into a place of worship. The villagers have also reportedly built a structure around it.
It is said that seven unknown persons had used a poclain vehicle to demolish the structure and action has been sought against Vemal's family who is suspected to be behind the act. It has not been mentioned whether Vemal himself was in the house or not and the police have started an enquiry in this regard.
