Coimbatore police have filed a case against DMK President MK Stalin. Stalin has been on a whirlwind campaign tour and yesterday he was seen campaigning at Thondamuthur in Coimbatore. During his speech, Stalin said that there was a connect between a minister and Bar Nagarajan, who's associated with Pollachi sexual abuse case.
Stalin said that even he has a daughter and the Pollachi incident had pained him. Following this statement by Stalin, a complaint had been filed by ADMK advocate panel member Ramachandran in Thondamuthur Police station, quotes by Stalin during his speech.
Ramachandran mentioned in his complaint that Stalin had made baseless accusation on minister Velumani, without any evidence, and hence demanded police action against Stalin. Following this, cases have been filed against MK Stalin in three sections pertaining to degrading the image of a person, damaging the harmony and inciting violence through hate speech.
