Police arrest agitators burning effigies of Rajini and Kamal

Coimbatore Police have arrested a number of protestors belonging to Bharat Sena who tried to burn the effigies of Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in Sankanoor who felt that the Rs.10Lakh and Rs. 15 Lakhs contributed by Rajini and Kamal respectively towards the Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund was too little for the innumerable people affected by the historic flooding last week.

It is reported that the agitating group felt that when Telugu actors contributed in excess of 25 Lakhs each and Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan could give 1 Crore they expected a lot more from the two stalwarts of Tamil cinema to help the suffering Tamils.
