Ramkumar Rayappa the talented youngster who surprised everyone by presenting his debut film 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum' as a neat and novel thriller film of the year is more than half done with his second film.

The film titled as 'Pokkiri Raja' borrowed from Superstar Rajinikanth's super hit film of the 1980s stars Jiiva and Hansika in lead roles while Sibiraj plays the equally important third character. This is also Jiiva's 25th film and it is being bankrolled by P.T.Selvakumar, the former PR of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and the producer of the star's grand fantasy film 'Puli'.

The shooting of the film has neared the final stage and the first look poster has been released now.

D.Imman the most sought after music composer in the recent years is scoring music for this film. Noted Tollywood cinematographer Aanji who has worked in 30 Telugu films and two Tamil films is working on this film. National award winning Editor Sabu Joseph of 'Vallinam' fame and Art director Vanaraj form part of the technical crew. Dhilip Subbaraya is the stunt master.

Rayappa has entrusted the responsibility of penning the dialogues for this film with Gnana Giri who wrote the dialogues for 'Vaanam' and 'Darling'.
