The Malayalam hit film 'Lanka' directed by AK Shahan with Suresh Gopi and Mamta Mohandas in the lead is being dubbed into Telugu by Kethireddy Harish Reddy under the banner Dhruti Cinema as 'Pokiri Pilla'.

The film was reportedly made based on real life incidents that occurred in Sri Lanka. The glamour of Mamta Mohandas and the performance of Suresh Gopi are expected to make the film a big hit in Telugu as well.

It is an action-packed film and the dubbing works are in progress. It is planned to be released in the second week of December.
