Popular lyricist turns director for a cop film with Prasanna

Popular Tamil poet and lyricist Kutty Revathi will be donning the director's hat for a cop story in Tamil. The film will have Prasanna playing the lead role of an officer who is fresh after the IPS training and right from the first day of his service as a police officer, he starts investigating a big case and the challenges he face during the investigation is the crux of the film.

Journalist Parithi and Kutti Revathi have jointly penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film . The as yet untitled film has been scheduled to go on floors from the month of August 2017. The rest of the cast and crew members are being finalised.
