It's been more than a week since Podaa Podi's music launch and the songs have become quite a rage already among fans. The film has music by Dharan and has quickly gotten interest from youngsters across India.

Unlike other audio launches, Podaa Podi's CDs hit the stores directly and with little promotion have gotten a lot of momentum going.

Sony Music's Asokh Parwani says: "Poda Podi music album is a runaway super hit. We have already got repeat order from music stores for the CD's and digital sales are phenomenal. It is number one on FM's and on mobile."

Meanwhile Simbu has been busy performing two of the songs at radio stations and award shows to get more promotions. Both the songs, 'Love Panlaama Venaama' and 'Appan Mavale' features Simbu himself and his efforts are known to make several soundtracks popular.
