As per reports from officials in South Africa, a poacher who had been hunting rhinos was attacked and killed by an elephant, following which he was preyed on by lions. His body remains were found in Kruger national park, in its Crocodile bridge section and people who were with him when he was poaching, called his family to inform the news.

Skukuza ranger Don English was called by the family of the poacher for the search operation and as per information given by those who accompanied the poacher, his dead remains were located. It was found that a pride of lions had fed on his body and what was left by them was his skull and a pant.

Skukuza cops are investigating the incident, and four accomplices of the deceased who are arrested are yet to be charged with any case or charges as they are set to be produced in court. Managing executive Glenn Philips of Kruger National park said it was unsafe to enter the park on foot, and it was sad seeing the family of the deceased mourning.
