Pattali Makkal Katchi’s (PMK) founder-president Ramadoss has asserted that the party would never compromise with its policies for the sake of forging alliance with other parties during the local body and Assembly polls.
Addressing a public meeting organized by the PMK at Vriddhachalam yesterday, Ramadoss urged party cadres to work hard to ensure that one-thirds of the population.
In each Panchayat Union in Cuddalore District are made party cadres. “We ought to include more women as cadres. While canvassing votes, ask them to make a promise on their deity that they would vote for us.
“Political parties have the habit of branding us as a ‘caste-based’ party only when they are not aligning with us. Whichever party or parties want(s) an alliance with us, we are determined not to compromise on our policies,” Ramadoss told the meeting.
Later, speaking to newsmen, he said that Govt. offices across the State should cater to people’s needs and provide relevant certificates/records at once. “We are of the firm opinion that the offices should dispose Right to Information (RTI) Act petitions at once so that corruption is eliminated at all levels,” he told newsmen.
