Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has shared a heartfelt letter from the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Dhoni had announced his retirement from International cricket on August 15.
Taking to Twitter, Dhoni shared the letter captioning it "An Artist,Soldier and Sportsperson what they crave for is appreciation, that their hard work and sacrifice is getting noticed and appreciated by everyone.thanks PM @narendramodi for your appreciation and good wishes."
Mahendra Singh Dhoni had announced his retirement on August 15 at 19:29 PM, following which his former teammate Suresh Raina also announced his retirement. Both the players will be seen in action in the 13th edition of IPL beginning in September.
