PM Modi to visit DMK leader Karunanidhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a visit to Chnnai to grace the 75 years of Tamil Daily Dina Thanthi might visit the DMK’s leader Karunanidhi, according to reports.

PM Modi is set to attend also a IAS officer’s daughter’s wedding following the event. It is touted that the Prime Minister might visit Karunanidhi enquiring his health around 12.30 pm today. The PM is also set to visit former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s memorial to pay his respects.

The PM’s visit to Tamil Nadu might hold significance in the state’s politics as opined by Bharatiya Janata Party’s senior leader Tamilisai Soundararajan yesterday.
