Earlier today, Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi had interacted with fitness enthusiasts from across the country on the 1st anniversary of Fit India movement. PM Modi spoke to Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli on the importance of fitness and diet to cope up with the fast paced world.
PM Modi discussed regarding the Yo-Yo test and whether the captain is mandated to undergo the exercise. Virat Kohli said that the Yo-Yo test is an important benchmark for achieving team goals and said that considering global standards, the Indian team's level is a little below the mark and are working on making it higher and called it a basic requirement.
In a fun moment in their conversation, PM Modi questioned whether Delhi's Chole Bhature business is suffering, as Virat Kohli's staying away from his favourite street food. Kohli has mentioned frequently in the past that he loved to have Chole Bhature on cheat days. Kohli replied that he was eating bad and trying lot of street food but the demands of the game helped him realise the importance of staying fit.
