Veteran actor Chandra Mohan on Tuesday condemned rumours about his health. A few media portals have claimed this week that the actor is not in fine fettle and that’s why he has decided to opt-out of acting.
The media reports claimed that he is not interested to take up acting offers owing to health-related reasons. Speaking in a video clip, Chandra Mohan categorically said that there is no truth in the reports. “I thank everyone for extending their heart-felt wishes recently on my birthday. I am hereby making it clear that I am doing fine. Your love and affection will always protect me. Your love is my Sri Rama Raksha,” the actor, who has played a number of popular character roles in films like ‘Nuvvu Naku Nacchav’ and ‘7/G Brindavan Colony’, said.
Artists usually take reports about their health seriously because, if not condemned in time, they might affect their career prospects. Producers fear casting actors who are unwell. That’s why they put the record straight soon after baseless rumours come out.
Chandra Mohan hasn’t been enthusiastic about taking up any and every role. He has been picky. In the video clip, the ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ actor is looking okay.
